Elizabeth and Brian 3/26/11…

This past Saturday, Elizabeth and Brian chose a Celtic theme for their wedding reception. This couple was so stinking cute! In addition to the photo booth Elizabeth and Brian brought in for their guests to enjoy, everyone was given photo holders decorated with an Irish shamrock as a parting gift. Keeping with the pink and green theme, Elizabeth and Brian’s signature drink was a “McLaughlito” which was a raspberry mojito, but my favorite part of their cocktail hour was the fajita station they chose as an enhancement for all their guests to enjoy! Take a look!

A Burst of Spring ...

This past Saturday, we were all on the edge of our seats as to whether the sunny and warm weather would hold out for Tara and Nicholas’ wedding ceremony. With the sun still shining and ceremony quickly approaching, our Maitre’d Debbie made the final decision to have ceremony outside! What a success it was for our first outdoor ceremony of the year!

After the ceremony, Tara and Nicholas’ celebration continued indoors. Bursts of purple were used throughout their décor, incorporating the beauty of spring into their reception and flowers. I went bananas over their flowers for two reasons … the first being that I go batty for spider mums (they look awesome) and the second being that I absolutely love the combination of purple, green and pink. What a refreshing way to kick off spring after a cold and snowy winter!

Pansies and Gillyflowers...

I am having such a hard time deciding on something I like more than the beautiful flowers that accentuated Sharon and Ed’s wedding reception (although Sharon's gown was stunning!).

Our wonderful and talented Nancy made sure the front of The English Manor was displaying a beautiful arrangement of flowers outside just in time for Sharon and Ed’s springtime nuptials. As their guests arrived, they were greeted with picturesque pansies and gorgeous gillyflowers. Their guests then partied the night away with panoramic views of the sun setting in the distance.

Here’s a picture I took of the flowers Nancy has already planted, but remember springtime is approaching fast and Nancy is adding flowers to our grounds daily!

An Incredible Affair …

This past Saturday, The English Manor hosted Kimberly and Michael’s wedding reception. For their function, Kim and Mike transformed our Grand Ballroom into a truly stunning black and white affair. Customized table numbers glittered and complimented the damask table runners, while their centerpieces dazzled! These custom designed centerpieces added even more glamour to this posh event! This wedding was the perfect ending to the month of February!
