A Sweetheart Surprise …

Out of all the months of the year, February is a favorite of mine for one simple reason … Valentine’s Day, the month of love! I cannot think of a better time of year to celebrate all the gooey goodness of love. Not only can you feel it in the air, but also you can see it in the sentimental details spread out on every corner.

Speaking of details, it was all in the adorable details for Tracy and Frank’s February 12th wedding. Red bursts of color filled the room and added just the right amount of flair to their special day. They brought in their own centerpieces, designed by Tye the Knot with Flowers, which included roses and a lampshade ensemble, which created an elegant display. Personally, my favorite touch was Tracy and Frank’s signature drink, “A Sweetheart Surprise”. This red concoction was as delectable as it was dazzling. Take a look at some of the details I loved below!

Sweet Nothings…

Mary and Peter were married at The English Manor on Friday, January 28th. Their guests enjoyed a beautiful, intimate ceremony that was followed by a fabulously fun fete. Mary was a DIY bride … the centerpieces, candy buffet, and favors were all hand crafted! She even made the ceramic branches and pots used to display the gorgeous centerpieces. As for their favors, custom made soaps and dishes completed the DIY reception. Here are some pictures from their wedding for you all to enjoy!

Save the Date!

I would like everyone to take a moment to appreciate the awesomely fun save the date Allison and Brian sent to their friends, family and the lucky ladies of The English Manor! We were all wowed by this unique and clever save the date and can't wait to see how all the details come together for their October wedding.

Winter Wonderland ...

This Saturday Amanda and Joe were married in a beautiful indoor ceremony as the snow fell outside, making it the perfect backdrop for a January wedding. The snow couldn’t have been a better element to add to this winter themed wedding. Complete with snowmen place card holders and red & white accents… this wedding rocked. Elite Entertainment, A Beautiful Day Photography and Christine Duggan Films added to the fun atmosphere. I do have to mention my favorite detail from this ridiculously gorgeous wedding was Amanda’s fur shawl. It was insanely stylish and she looked glamorous!

Carrie from A Beautiful Day Photography supplied me with some fabulous photos I’m sure you will all go crazy over! Take a look …

Happy New Year!

I can’t think of a better way to ring in the New Year than with a wedding. Jamie and George must have been thinking the same thought because they were married this past Friday on New Year’s Eve. What a way to start the New Year off with a bang!

To ring in the New Year, Kristina and Michael from Flowerful Events transformed our Ballroom into a breathtaking affair, elevating the beauty of our Ballroom to an entirely new level. Upon entering the Ballroom, I was instantly mesmerized by all the gorgeous details. Their centerpieces were Manzanita trees brought in from California with hanging votives and led lights. I don’t think my description gives enough justice to these gorgeous centerpieces, so I have provided pictures for you below. Not only were their centerpieces beyond perfection, but they also had a 5 ft. tall cake custom created by Design Cakes! It was undeniably stunning!

Here are some photos courtesy of Flowerful Events and Lisa Truesdale … Enjoy!

I saved the best for last ... take a look at this groom's cake!

Tis the Season …

I absolutely LOVE the holiday season. It really is “the most magical time of the year”. Poinsettias, wreaths, icicles and lights … you name it and we have it! Not only is December the most magical time of year, but it is the perfect month for romance. The dim lighting and heat created by our fireplace adds the right touch of warmth to a cold and chilly night. It provides the perfect ambiance for a winter wonderland wedding! This past Saturday, on December 4th, Michele and Mario were married in our Grand Ballroom. It was a beautiful ceremony and the night continued with a fun and festive reception. Michele and Mario added their own holiday cheer by decorating our fireplace with stockings and pictures of family and friends. In our Grand Ballroom, red table runners added the perfect pop of color and guests were greeted with ornament place cards. All in all, it was a truly festive celebration!
